Logistics Analyst

Requirements

• Possess strong knowledge of logistical concepts, supply chain terminology, and drayage operations best practices, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in drayage operations
• Demonstrate familiarity with UIIA detention and per diem policies and dispute procedures for major SSLs and IEPs
• Possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and develop effective solutions
• Exhibit exceptional time and task management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks under demanding timelines
• Have experience with freight auditing and invoicing processes
• Employ a strong collaborative and team-based approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to compile reports and metrics that drive decision-making and operational improvements
• Interpret invoices and other documents from external companies to reconcile with internal systems, including maintaining statements of accounts and collecting required documents
• Monitor, audit, dispute, and report monthly on freight charges, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Perform account reconciliations with the ability to handle large sets of data efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency
• Provide timely and actionable communications to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all logistical operations
• Resolve accessorial and freight payment issues, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstrate proficiency in logistics software and tools for data analysis and reporting
• Have experience in intermodal transportation or related industries
