Summary
Join Cargomatic, a leader in intermodal transportation, as a Logistics Analyst! This role requires 2+ years of drayage operations experience and strong logistical knowledge. Requirements
- Possess strong knowledge of logistical concepts, supply chain terminology, and drayage operations best practices, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in drayage operations
- Demonstrate familiarity with UIIA detention and per diem policies and dispute procedures for major SSLs and IEPs
- Possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Exhibit exceptional time and task management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks under demanding timelines
- Have experience with freight auditing and invoicing processes
- Employ a strong collaborative and team-based approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to compile reports and metrics that drive decision-making and operational improvements
- Interpret invoices and other documents from external companies to reconcile with internal systems, including maintaining statements of accounts and collecting required documents
- Monitor, audit, dispute, and report monthly on freight charges, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Perform account reconciliations with the ability to handle large sets of data efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency
- Provide timely and actionable communications to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all logistical operations
- Resolve accessorial and freight payment issues, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelorβs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency in logistics software and tools for data analysis and reporting
- Have experience in intermodal transportation or related industries
Benefits
- The expected salary range for this role is $30-35/hour
