Summary

Join Altarum's Division of Population Health as a Senior Behavioral Health (BH) Research and Technical Assistance (TA) Analyst. Lead research and implementation support efforts on various behavioral health projects, including designing and leading evaluations, coordinating technical assistance strategies, and developing client reports. The role requires strong written, organizational, and leadership skills to deliver high-quality products and support team members. Responsibilities include developing and delivering training materials, designing and leading research activities (surveys, interviews, focus groups, site visits), providing project management support, and supporting proposal efforts. A minimum of a bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience are required. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelorโ€™s in behavioral health, psychology, public health, or related field
  • Minimum of five (7) years of work experience, including specific experience in behavioral health services, policy and programming
  • Experience working with on multiple project efforts simultaneously
  • Experience conducting evaluations, implementation support, or technical assistance to federal and state agencies implementing policies and programs to improve behavioral health services
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to deliver complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Successful management and provision of training and technical assistance
  • Openness and appreciation to feedback and ongoing quality improvement
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail; flexibility to manage multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel 8-10% of the year

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of curriculum and training materials, and deliver trainings for behavioral health workforce in a variety of settings
  • Design and lead behavioral health research activities, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and site visits
  • Provide project management support including tracking budgets and client progress reports
  • Keep skills and knowledge of the focus area up to date through professional development and other educational methods
  • Support proposal efforts for federal, state, philanthropic, and other clients

Preferred Qualifications

Masterโ€™s degree in public health or a related field (preferred)
