Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or a related field, ideally within the digital product or technology industry
- Proven experience in managing and developing M&A-focused teams, with the ability to set clear objectives, drive performance, and foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of due diligence processes, financial modeling, company valuation, and risk analysis
- Expertise in the contractual and legal aspects of M&A, with the ability to lead complex negotiations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong project management abilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership and development teams to define and execute an M&A strategy aligned with the company’s growth and expansion objectives
- Research and analyze the market to identify companies, technologies, or products that provide synergies and align with strategic growth goals
- Lead the due diligence process, ensuring a thorough evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory considerations
- Manage the negotiation of M&A agreements with a solid understanding of legal, contractual, and regulatory aspects specific to mergers and acquisition
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, lead contract negotiations, and secure favorable deal terms that support strategic objectives
- Oversee the integration of acquisitions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions, operational alignment, and cultural fit
- Serve as a key point of contact between finance, product, legal, and executive teams to ensure smooth communication, aligning expectations and responsibilities across departments
- Monitor and report on the performance of acquired assets, ensuring that strategic objectives are met and identifying areas for improvement
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team focused on achieving strategic acquisition goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
