Summary

Join our team at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions and take on the role of a Scheduling-, Job- & Outputmanagement-products administrator. As a key member, you will be responsible for installation, administration, and supervision of these products on the Mainframe platform. Your proactive monitoring skills will ensure the smooth operation of productive Scheduling-, Job- and Outputmanagement-products. You will also provide 2nd/3rd level technical support, participate in on-call service, collaborate on internal and customer projects, and contribute to the conception and realization of application-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Several years of IT-experiance on platform Mainframe, ideally in Deutsche Telekom Β / T-Systems
  • Strong z/OS system and subsystem knowledge TSO, ISPF, JCL, SMP/E, ISPF, SDSF, CLIST, REXX
  • Good knowledge in Scheduling, Job- and Outputmanagement-products IBM IWS, BMC CONTROL-M/-D, CA Workload Automation, AJM, AJM/S and AppChange
  • Basic knowledge in project management
  • Good knowledge and practical experiance in realization of ITIL-processes (Incident-, Change- and Problem-Management)
  • Business language skills in English and German (level C1)
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Team-minded/collaborative
  • Willingness to work independently, reliability, flexibility
  • Practical experience in PC applications (Microsoft Office, Service Now)

Responsibilities

  • Installation, administration and supervising of Scheduling-, Job- & Outputmanagement-products on platform Mainframe
  • Proactive monitoring of productive Scheduling-, Job- and Outputmanagement-products
  • 2nd/3rd level technical support with involvement of last-level support (vendor)
  • Operation planning, installation, execution of tests, implementation, documentation and maintenance of Scheduling-, Job- and Outputmanagement-software
  • Automation of operational workflows
  • Coordination of updates (releases) with the relevant departments
  • Standardization of existing installations
  • Realization of individual solutions
  • Participation in on call service
  • Collaboration on internal and customer-projects
  • Conception and realization of application-specific requirements in cooperation with customers
  • Incident/Problem/Change management
  • Compliance oft the agreed SLAs
  • Regular contact with German and other international customers and colleagues
