Mainframe Administrator

Summary

Join a dynamic team at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions as a Mainframe Application Specialist and contribute to the operation of complex mainframe applications for international clients.

Requirements

• Accept DuPont Shift Schedule
• Have at least intermediate level of English and/or German language skills
• Have IT studies and/or relevant IT experience
• Work independently with precision

Responsibilities

• Operate mainframe applications (auto manufacturing, banking processes etc.)
• Maintain highest level of IBM industrial technologies (Mainframe; DB/DC, OPC, JCL and more...)
• Operate IBM Mainframe architecture - ensuring 24/7 availability for our international corporate clients
• Handle and resolve problems, events promptly
• Implement customer requests
• Develop, implement standard processes, methods and solutions, automate operational workflows
• Maintain regular contact with German and other international colleagues/customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Have mainframe experience
• Have knowledge of z/OS system and subsystems
• Have TSO, ISPF, JCL knowledge, Batch/Scheduling knowledge
• Have high-level knowledge of Ms Office programs (Excel, Word, PPT)
