Management Intern

Summary

Join Wattpad's Strategy and Business Operations team as a Management Intern and support the team in various projects and reporting. Leverage data analysis skills to drive insights and support strategic recommendations. Conduct deep dives into business areas to identify trends and opportunities. Assist with subscription promotion events and prepare regular reviews. Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance metrics. Conduct market and competitive research. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong analytical and communication skills. The salary range is $50,000-$55,000 CAD per year. Wattpad is a remote-friendly company with offices in Toronto and Halifax.

Requirements

• Enrolled or recently completed a post-secondary Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Basic knowledge of G Suite (Google Sheets, Slides)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Data-driven problem-solving skills and ability to break down large problems into smaller solvable chunks
• Strong quantitative skills combined with great attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• A team player who is willing to learn and grow with the team

Responsibilities

• Leverage data analysis skills to drive insights and support strategic recommendations
• Conduct deep-dives of different business areas such as user funnel, monetization, or content engagement to identify trends and opportunities
• Assist the team in running subscription promotion events by supporting during the planning and execution phase
• Work with the team members and other stakeholders to prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews
• Build, maintain and iterate on dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor progress against targets
• Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SQL, Looker, Google Analytics

Benefits

• $50,000 - $55,000 a year
