Summary

Join Tubi, a leading free streaming service, as a Content Leader to spearhead editorial merchandising across Canada, Latin America, the UK, and Australia. This role demands creative curation, data analysis, and operational excellence to deliver engaging content strategies. You will collaborate with internal and international teams, translating data insights into actionable programming and campaigns. Fluency in Spanish is essential, and a passion for entertainment is key. This hybrid role can be based in Los Angeles or remote within the US. The position involves leading merchandising strategies, creating data-driven curations, supporting acquisition strategies, and managing various content projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in content merchandising, editorial, or related entertainment roles
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to derive insights from data and apply them to content strategy
  • Comfortable navigating CMS tools and large-scale content systems
  • Strong command of Excel and presentation tools (e.g., Google Slides) - Airtable experience a plus
  • Deep knowledge of regional media and cultural trends across Tubi’s international markets
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate fan of TV and film with broad taste across genres and decades

Responsibilities

  • Lead the merchandising and editorial strategy for four international markets: Canada, Latin America, the UK, and Australia
  • Translate performance data and audience insights into actionable curation and merchandising decisions—across homepage programming, themed content containers, and tentpole campaigns
  • Lead medium- and long-term planning cycles for international editorial priorities, coordinating closely with Programming, Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Create and manage category-based, data-backed curations that reflect regional trends and business priorities
  • Support acquisition strategy by identifying regional content needs and surfacing standout opportunities from avails lists
  • Manage ad hoc content projects across internal teams, helping implement experiments, merchandising tests, and tech initiatives
  • Apply project management discipline to editorial execution—tracking timelines, aligning resources, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple time zones
