Summary

Join Underdog, a fast-growing sports gaming company with a nearly $500 million valuation. The role involves managing day-to-day social media platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring metrics, staying updated with industry trends, and having 5-8 years of experience in managing social accounts across different platforms. Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in managing social accounts across different platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok)
• 1-2 years of experience managing at least one direct report
• Interested and invested in all sports, across all seasons
• Comfortable working nights and weekends based on the sports calendar
• Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging copy and assist with social graphics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving goals

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of social media platforms
• Manage live coverage for sports events across Underdog social platforms
• Collaborate with the Senior Director, Social Media on social strategy and daily content decisions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing efforts
• Handle social media posting and ensure all copy is on-brand and optimized for engagement
• Monitor metrics regularly, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) like social post engagement performance by type of post and time of posting

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the sports media industry
• A very flexible schedule that allows for working weekends
• Proven track record of managing and growing teams
