Project Management Office Manager

Summary

The job description is for an entry- to mid-level PMO Manager at RSI Security. The role involves overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) and managing a team of Project Managers. The position is open to residents of USA and Mexico, and offers full-time employment or contract with a salary range of $70k - $95k/year depending on experience and location.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in project management, with at least 1-2 years in a PMO or project leadership role
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, JIRA)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• Must be able to work company hours, leadership experience of a team of 3 or more, and at least one Project Management certification

Responsibilities

• LMA (Leadership + Management = Accountability) of PM team
• PMO Standards and Processes development, documentation, and continuous improvement
• Resource Allocation including the regular review and optimization of resource allocation to ensure efficiency across projects
• PMO Budget management, tracking, and reporting on the budget to senior management
• Risk Management including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks, as well as adhering to a risk management framework
• Renewal Process Management
• Stakeholder Communication responsible for maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed of project status, risks, and changes
• Performance Metrics definition, tracking, and reporting on key performance metrics for the PMO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications
