Remote Manager Corporate Communications

Summary

Join the communications team at Natera as a Manager, Corporate Communications and play a key role in shaping the corporate narrative for a leading diagnostics company. The individual will be responsible for creating press releases, crafting internal communications documents, developing strategic messaging plans, engaging with media, serving as a liaison between communications and business units, and assisting in managing relationships with PR firms.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
• The ability to project-manage across multiple verticals
• Public company experience either directly in-house or via PR agency
• Knowledge of genetics and/or healthcare, including the ability to communicate scientific data
• Executive presence and an entrepreneurial spirit
• The ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Creation of press releases and media statements
• Crafting of certain internal communications documents
• Development of strategic messaging and communications plans
• Engagement with media
• Serving as a liaison between communications and business units/executives
• Assistance in managing relationships with PR firms
• Research on various topics to inform key projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, with at least 7-8 years of experience in communications or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides, and familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms
