Summary

The Manager of Cyber Security at Dynatron Software oversees the operation of security solutions, ensuring protection from cyber threats. A bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience are required, along with a CISSP certification and over 5 years in an Information Security leadership role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of relevant cyber security experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in an Information Security leadership role managing teams
  • CISSP or equivalent security certification

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive IT security program aligned with industry best practices and security frameworks
  • Oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention, etc.)
  • Evaluate and recommend any new features within our current applications and new vendors/products that improve our overall security posture
  • Lead a team of security specialists in monitoring security events, investigating potential threats, and responding to security incidents
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Manage CyberSecurity Awareness Training program, including annual training, phishing simulations, October SAM, New Hire training and monthly boosters
  • Manage vulnerability penetration testing and remediation processes to include both internal and external regulatory required audits
  • Report on security metrics, trends, and incidents to senior management
  • Set goals and objectives for assigned teams for achievement of operational and strategic results
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting areas of expertise
  • Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss security questions and concerns
  • Manage relationships and contracts with third-party vendors we select for Cyber Security

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of current cyber threats, regulatory frameworks (e.g. NERC CIP) and information security technologies
