Join Figma's growing team and help expand Figma for Education into new international markets! This new role focuses on building a global strategy from the ground up, starting with India, Brazil, Singapore, and Australia. You will hire and manage a team of country leads, develop market-specific programs, and cultivate relationships with key education stakeholders. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in international expansion, go-to-market strategy, education sales, partnerships, consulting, business operations or program management
- A track record of launching and scaling programs and/or products in new markets from 0 to 1
- Education industry experience, with knowledge of K-12, higher ed, and/or bootcamp landscapes, personas and adoption
- Robust experience with programmatic process building, especially around selling, onboarding, and supporting new customers and communities
- Strong team leadership skills, with experience managing remote teams across multiple time zones
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging government, school leaders, and industry partners
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to track, analyze, and optimize international adoption and engagement metrics
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial approach, comfortable operating in an ambiguous and resource-constrained environment
- Willing to work across these timezones; India, Brazil, and APAC
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the international go-to-market strategy for Figma for Education, prioritizing India, Brazil, Singapore, and Australia in 2025. This will include K12, higher ed, and boot camps
- Hire, manage, and support a team of regional education leads
- Build programmatic processes for selling, onboarding, and supporting customers, while building relationships with Boards of Education, university leadership, and bootcamp operators to drive adoption of Figma in classrooms around the world
- Partner with Legal, Sales, and Marketing to ensure regional compliance, messaging alignment, and local go-to-market execution
- Design and launch community programs to build awareness and engagement in each region
- Measure success through data-driven insights, tracking adoption, engagement, and impact across global education markets
- Represent Figma in international education conferences, partnerships, and speaking engagements to expand brand presence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a high-growth tech company or startup
- Background in community building and education marketing
- Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations in international education markets
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Hindi, or other relevant languages
