Summary

The Manager, FP&A at 7shifts will lead and support a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial analysis. They will manage and develop a team of FP&A Analysts, review and support key monthly processes, own the reporting and forecasting for complex areas of the business, and drive the annual budgeting process. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related field, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, proven leadership skills, strong business acumen, advanced user experience with financial reporting systems and analysis tools, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, strategy consulting, strategic finance, or other equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand business models and  identify key drivers that connect to the overall financial picture
  • Advanced user and experience with financial reporting systems and analysis tools to deliver timely and accurate insights (ex: Netsuite, Adaptive, Tableau, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to tell cohesive stories with numbers to finance and non-finance audiences
  • Expertise in financial modeling & forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and develop a team of FP&A Analysts
  • Review and support key monthly processes, including monthly financial model actualization, department budget to actual review, & stakeholder reporting package creation
  • Own the reporting & forecasting for complex areas of the business, including balance sheet, cash flow, select revenue streams, and key SaaS metrics
  • Manage the quarterly reforecast processes, ensuring alignment between key stakeholders, and producing impactful reporting to summarize projected business performance against the  annual operating plan
  • Drive the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to align investments with strategic company objectives
  • Assisting in the implementation of an FP&A software and continue to identify automation opportunities
  • Support other ad-hoc strategic finance projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS, Startup experience
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation
