Technology FP&A Manager

Summary

The job is for a Technology FP&A Manager at Reddit who will provide financial insights to senior executives, manage resource investments for the Engineering and Product teams, and work with a world-class team. The candidate should have 5+ years of Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Business Operations experience, prior FP&A experience is preferred, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Business Operations experience in a fast paced industry
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced and quickly changing environment
• Strong business partnership skills with innate desire to delight customers
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Workday, Adaptive, NetSuite, etc)
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, proficient in Powerpoint/Google Slides
• Entrepreneurial and self-directed, can work with limited direction, demonstrated ability to innovate and bias toward action

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A support for business leaders within the Infrastructure, Engineering and Product organizations
• Partner with key stakeholders to plan, forecast, and manage OpEx and headcount expenses and facilitate prioritization decisions
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve, automate, and scale FP&A rhythms (forecast, close, variance analysis, and weekly reports)
• Perform deep dive analysis to identify new investment or cost-saving opportunities
• Work closely with HR, Recruiting, and Business Leaders to actively track and manage headcount to stay within budget/forecast while maximizing productivity and impact
• Lead business reviews at a regular cadence to share performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on latest data
• Perform ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis and communicate takeaways
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in technology companies supporting engineering, operations, or product teams a plus
