Summary
The Finance Analyst will conduct financial analysis of sales performance, GTM initiatives, and related metrics, prepare regular reports and presentations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in the financial evaluation of new GTM strategies. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a financial analysis
- Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Gsheets, Excel, Salesforce)
- Proven experience in partner management, with a focus on supporting specific departments, ideally Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of sales performance, GTM initiatives, and related metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with sales leaders and GTM teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives and market dynamics
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Evaluate sales pipeline, conversion rates, and sales productivity metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives
- Partner with sales operations to analyze sales performance by product, region, customer segment, and salesperson, identifying areas for improvement and growth
- Assist in the financial evaluation of new GTM strategies, product launches, pricing models, and market expansion plans
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to assess the profitability, ROI, and financial viability of GTM initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to align financial goals with business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and improve data accuracy
- Implement best practices and standardized methodologies to optimize financial planning and analysis activities
