Requirements
- B.S. /M.S. in one of the relevant Engineering or Science fields
- Strong understanding of CMC supply chain, procurement and vendor relationship management
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility in CMC supply chain, procurement, vendor relationship management
- Strong understanding of vendor relationship management, financial acumen, analytical skills, risk management and project
- Established track record with evidence of excellent people management experience, problem solving, collaborative, leadership, and communication skills
- Strategic Leadership - Translates corporate vision and strategy into departmental goals and objectives; adjusts plans and tactics to meet changing departmental priorities and circumstances; utilizes market data
- Successful candidate will be high-energy, possess a learning orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and change management skills required, in addition to ability to build strong relationships both vertically and horizontally
- Proven ability to escalate difficult issues and make tough
Responsibilities
- Create, manage and update CMC production plans utilizing planning algorithms to model production scenarios, expiry risks and safety stock to avoid under- or overstocking and ensure alignment with sales and inventory plans
- Oversee CMC vendor forecasts, purchase orders, invoice management in accordance with supply plan models and contractual commitments. Collaborate with finance teams to manage CMC commercial budget, ensuring that all CMC vendor-related expenditures align with approved funding and forecasts
- Work closely with Technical Operations, Supply Chain and Quality functions to create and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and delivery performance and operational efficiency to ensure continuous improvement. Identify potential risks associated with vendor performance and provide recommendations for changes to contractual terms, future partnerships and renewals.Β Present KPIs to Sr Management and CMC vendors in business review meetings
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Technical Operations teams to oversee CMC commercial product transactions, ensure data accuracy, and maintain the integrity of product and financial information in Tarsus business management tool
- Oversee CMC vendor scope of work, ensuring alignment with Master Service Agreements, company standards and regulatory requirements. Lead the management of any scope changes or adjustments to vendor contracts based on evolving CMC business need
- Work closely with the CMC team to initiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring timely acquisition and accurate tracing
- Monitor vendor invoices, ensuring accurate reflection of work performed and adherence to agreed upon milestones and payment terms. Ensure proper processing and reconciliation of vendor invoices, coordinating with finance to track expenditures and ensure budget compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Preferable experience in all the following areas: Vendor management, supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, procurement processes and cost management
