Requirements

  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with expertise in negotiating agreements across business units for both technology and corporate categories
  • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with both tech and non-tech teams
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders at various levels within an organization
  • Skilled in navigating ambiguity, especially in an early-stage procurement environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to create executive-level summaries and presentations that synthesize complex deals into clear, actionable insights
  • Proven track record of identifying cost reduction opportunities and delivering savings
  • Capability in redlining supplier contracts to reduce risk
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency with intake & contract management systems, ERP tools and e-signature tools

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders and vendors to drive successful deal negotiations
  • Develop category management strategies, create negotiation plans, and ensure alignment with internal teams
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives, such as influencing or managing RFPs, demand management, and supplier rationalization programs
  • Convert routine renewals into strategic renewal opportunities
  • Provide negotiation expertise and thought leadership to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Build strong, value-driven relationships with internal customers to become a trusted advisor
  • Lead planning sessions with internal teams to create leverage for effective negotiations
  • Review, redline, and negotiate contract terms for governing agreements, amendments, SOWs, and order forms
  • Collaborate with internal partners (legal, security, IT, finance) and manage supplier relationships at all levels
  • Achieve targets for annual savings, payment terms, and business engagement within the procurement function
