Manager, Software Engineering

Summary

Join Affirm's Storage & Replication team as an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing infrastructure engineering team. You will build systems powering Affirm’s critical data pipelines, improving infrastructure administration, operation, and productization. Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Technical skills: Prior experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining OLAP systems with demonstrable knowledge of online storage systems, data replication processes and cloud data warehouses
• Technical leadership: Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence technical decisions across teams
• Team player: Community builder with strong network-building and collaboration skills and a strong desire to grow and mentor others
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Education: This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
