As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead your team to deliver projects that improve the efficiency of our care teams and implement an in-house solution to manage cases for our members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full stack programming expertise preferably React and Ruby on Rails
  • 1+ years of software Engineering Manager experience, and enjoys being a technical hands-on manager
  • Have demonstrated a track record of building high-quality products, cross-functional collaboration and managing high-performing teams

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering their growth and development through coaching and real-time feedback
  • Provide technical guidance to software engineers and stay informed on industry best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Recruiting and making hiring decisions for open positions on your team
  • Attending to the professional growth of the engineers you support
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality
  • Ensuring your team’s components are supported operationally
  • Maintaining a healthy engineering culture
  • Manage, support, and grow the engineering organization responsible for building our caregiver’s portal
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll define technical requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
  • Work within an Agile framework, with a focus on results over process
