Summary
Join ServiceNow as a ServiceNow Platform Infrastructure Engineering Manager and lead a team of developers, providing mentorship and guidance. Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- 2-3+ yearsβ people management experience, especially of a software development or systems engineering team across a global 24x7 production environment
- Fluency with the components of ServiceNow Application and Administration
- Solid background in Linux systems and OS Patching on a global scale
- Ability to execute a project based on priorities, context, risks, and desired outcomes
- Ability to work cross functionally, establishing relationships with partners that are consumers and dependencies of your product
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in an open, collaborative, and dynamic team environment
- Experience in software development, release management, DevOps, and large-scale program management
- ServiceNow Platform development experience and SN UI frameworks familiarity
- Fluency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, JavaScript or Python)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Servicenow platform developers in the infrastructure space, providing mentorship and guidance, maintaining a best-of-class mindset
- Manage quarterly and annual planning, team objectives, individual goals, deliverables, hiring, development plans, and performance reviews
- Collaborate with peer teams on complex, global engineering efforts to ensure architecture agreement, resource coordination, and implementation timelines
- Provide technical guidance for systems optimization opportunities and participate in architectural reviews
- Assess risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigations of existing systems to ensure they are highly available, operationally sound, perform at scale, and exceed customer expectation
- Remove blockers and act as an escalation point for issues and form cross functional relationships to ensure organizational success
