Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in student affairs, program operations, nonprofit management, or a related field

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and complex details
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to collect, interpret, and act on data and feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teammates and diverse stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and matrixed work environment
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and an eagerness to take initiative and see projects through to completion

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director and Student Leadership & Engagement team to implement scalable programs such as the Hillel Leadership Institute, Leadership Passport Fellowship, HillelU Student Hub, and student convenings
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., grants, marketing, technology, evaluation) to ensure high-quality, student-facing experiences from ideation to execution
  • Support and help manage timelines, budgets, logistics, vendor relationships, and communications for in-person and virtual programs
  • Drive process improvements and systems that enable scale, quality control, and continuous learning
  • Monitor key performance indicators and outcomes to evaluate the success and impact of student programs
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis in partnership with Hillel’s Strategy & Measurement team
  • Contribute to insights and recommendations that shape future program design and strategic decision-making
  • Serve as a point person for operational, administrative, and technical support needs across the leadership portfolio
  • Collaborate with Hillel field professionals and external partners to ensure student offerings align with campus needs and Hillel’s movement-wide engagement strategy
  • Keep current on trends in student development, leadership education, and Jewish engagement to help ensure offerings remain relevant and inspiring

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus if you’ve worked on student leadership or Jewish life initiatives, or if you’ve helped manage high-quality programs at scale
