Summary

The job is for a Manager, Technical Program Management position at 1Password. Requirements

• 4+ years experience managing a team of program managers supporting technical programs
• 8+ years of program management or technical program management experience
• Passionate team builder adept at organizational planning and cultivating a healthy team environment in which everyone is meaningfully challenged to deliver great work
• Deeply experienced with building cross-organizational relationships at all levels, with senior leadership and with individual contributors
• Execution prowess - experience building simple, repeatable and scalable processes to optimize predictable execution for teams
• Growth mindset - curious, learn from any failures, and continually stretch yourself. Role models culture of adaptability, accountability, and continuous improvement on their team
• Excellent communicator with experience presenting to senior leaders, representing program parameters to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A profound respect for user privacy and information security

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and develop existing team of TPMs and collaborate with the Senior Manager, TPM on hiring a growing team
• Influence healthy and positive team morale, set measurable goals, and rally the TPM team to drive outcomes
• Mentoring teams across technical domains, including developing an understanding of our full technical stack to be able to facilitate complex technical conversations
• Exhibit a fierce sense of ownership, setting an example for all team members
• Foster cross-functional relationships between Product, Design, Tech and Operational teams to deliver high quality and highly reliable apps and services
• Build scalable and repeatable processes, lead periodic planning, prioritization discussions and productive team meetings
