Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with SaaS products
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with API testing, tools like Postman, Insomnia, and HTTP request/response cycles
  • Understanding of technical concepts like JSON, JWT, and HTTP flows
  • Hands-on experience with test management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to clearly report findings and collaborate with team members

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough manual testing of SaaS applications, focusing on areas like authentication, payments, and user workflows
  • Write, maintain, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functionalities
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, providing detailed steps for developers to reproduce problems
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia, validating HTTP flows and ensuring correct functionality
  • Work with JSON and JWT to validate data structures and security protocols
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards
  • Maintain and improve test management processes using tools like X-Ray, TestRail, Zephyr, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation testing (optional but a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with security testing of web applications
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into the development workflow
