Manual QA Engineer

Your responsibilities include manual testing of Saily's API and web platform, defining testing processes, suggesting product improvements, analyzing bugs, creating detailed test cases, and collaborating with various teams. You will also mentor junior team members. This position requires 3+ years of manual testing experience, API testing experience, expertise in QA methodologies, and a collaborative attitude. Bonus points are given for test automation experience and ISTQB certification. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Manual testing
• Experience testing API
• Expertise in Software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrated experience in driving QA direction
• Collaborative attitude
• Knowledge of best Agile practices
• Fluency in the English language

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of Saily API, including some web platform testing
• Defining processes for a test plan and several phases of a testing cycle
• Proactively suggest product quality improvements by participating in feature planning and estimation with the development team
• Analyze found bugs during tests and prepare recommendations for process improvements to avoid similar cases
• Create detailed and well-structured test cases
• Ensure that the product is at a high-quality level for deployment
• Work closely with product and engineering managers, developers, and other QA team members in ensuring high-quality product
• Train and mentor less senior team members in best QA practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test automation
• ISTQB foundation certificate would be considered a huge advantage but is not mandatory
