Requirements

• Be a rising graduate student
• Be a strong quantitative thinker who enjoys working collaboratively on a team
• Be a proficient Python and SQL programmer with a passion for quantitative finance
• Possess collaborative and courteous with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be inquisitive, eager to ask questions, admit mistakes and learn new things
• Be authorized to work in Canada or US

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing models to value a portfolio of renewable energy assets as well as vanilla and exotic power derivatives, and to evaluate portfolio risk
• Learn how to apply advanced mathematical, statistical and programming skills to model and predict large data sets
• Analyze historical and simulated series through personal mentoring
• Participate in related tasks, as the Market Risk & Analytics department continues to innovate and expand

Preferred Qualifications

Have a background in finance, risk management or any other specific field

• $45 USD per hour for graduate students. If working in Canada: conversion rate to CAD run at time-of-hire
