Requirements
- Models humility, innovation, and a drive for excellence
- 2+ years of copywriting experience, B2B SaaS company preferred
- Passionate about our products and how they can serve churches, ministries, and nonprofits
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (SEO certification is a plus.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to conduct thorough research and produce well-informed content
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms
- Willing to share a portfolio of past work
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and update high-quality content for various platforms, including blogs, scripts, PR releases, and social media
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals and brand voice
- Interpret creative briefs to deliver fully developed content pieces
- Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic
- Edit your own and your colleagues’ content for clarity and consistency
- Adhere to the company’s editorial guidelines and follow company policies and procedures for writing
- Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize future content
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content creation and digital marketing
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus
