Requirements
- Understand the unique challenges and needs of smaller businesses when it comes to marketing, including limited resources and potential lack of digital expertise
- Be well-versed in emerging digital marketing technologies like social media, content marketing, email automation, and data analytics, and can guide SMEs on how to best leverage them
- Help SMEs develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with their overall business goals, including customer segmentation, channel selection, and performance metrics
- Facilitate cultural shifts within the organization to embrace digital marketing practices and adapt to changing customer behaviors
Responsibilities
- Assess current marketing capabilities: Evaluate existing marketing strategies, tools, and processes to identify areas for improvement and digital transformation opportunities
- Develop a digital marketing roadmap: Create a plan outlining the necessary steps to implement new digital marketing initiatives, including budget allocation and timelines
- Train staff on digital marketing tools: Provide training to marketing teams on how to use new digital marketing platforms and technologies effectively
- Implement data-driven decision making: Help SMEs leverage data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior and optimize marketing campaigns for better results
- Monitor and measure performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and make necessary adjustments
