Summary

Join SandboxAQ, a high-growth company delivering AI solutions, as the founding Marketing hire for our AI Simulation Team. You will spearhead brand awareness and drive adoption of LQM-powered solutions in the biopharma and materials science markets. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, craft compelling messaging, and create content (presentations, white papers, case studies) to generate leads. Conduct market analysis, establish KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. This role requires 8+ years of marketing experience in life sciences and expertise in storytelling and technical solutions. A STEM Bachelor's degree is preferred. The US base salary range is $179k-$251k per year, plus potential bonuses and equity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing experience driving brand awareness and revenue growth in biopharma, pharma, or other life sciences
  • Expertise in storytelling, messaging, positioning, and product launches for technical solutions or scientific products with a portfolio of samples to showcase this work
  • Ability to create content for a range of environments, from presentations and data sheets to online ads, blogs, and white papers
  • Bachelor's degree ideally in a STEM field such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • Excited about joining a start-up and the scrappy, high-paced nature of the work that comes with that
  • Ability to collaborate well with technical colleagues and creative partners and have experience working with external marketing/PR firms
  • Passionate about defining the future of the AI and LQM ecosystem applied to chemistry and biology
  • Able to travel up to 30% for a variety of purposes, including customer/partner engagements, industry conferences, and internal meetings/offsites

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to penetrate key sectors within the $23+ trillion quantitative economy – including Biopharma/Diagnostics ($8T) and Chemicals/Materials/Energy ($15T) – by promoting our AI Simulation solutions to relevant stakeholders across industry and the public sector
  • Craft compelling, value-based messaging that simplifies complex technical concepts to address customer pain points and drive sales and commercial partnerships
  • Drive lead generation in Biopharma, Chemistry & Material Sciences by writing and creating compelling content (presentations, white papers, case studies, website) and executing targeted marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies across the customer journey
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies, position our solutions for commercial success, and support sales initiatives
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive data-driven improvements
  • Align marketing efforts with overarching business objectives by collaborating closely with product, business development, and R&D teams to influence the solution roadmap
  • Collaborate with customers, hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), and GTM partners to develop case studies, co-branding content, webinars, events, and co-marketing assets that amplify our reach
