Summary

Join Tridge's multicultural team and lead the sales process to onboard food and agriculture industry suppliers onto their marketplace platform. You will identify and generate leads, qualify prospects, negotiate and close deals, contributing to sales targets. Regular reporting on sales activities and market trends is expected, along with acting as a client liaison. Maintain accurate client records and continuously monitor industry trends for new opportunities. Career advancement opportunities are available for high performers. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or sales management
  • Strong network with Agri/Food suppliers (Farmers/Growers, Processors & Manufacturers, Distributors)
  • Local language proficiency
  • Self-sufficient, focused sales executive with a propensity towards executing and driving revenue results
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to senior business stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and generating marketplace customer (seller) leads, qualifying prospects, contacting, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, client insights, and market trends in the local area
  • Act as a point of contact between local clients and the line manager to ensure localized customer engagement and feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales processes, following up on leads, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Continuously monitor the latest trends in the food and agriculture industries to identify new business opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the tech industry
  • Prior experience in online marketplaces
  • Experience in channel partnership management
