  • Support corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of Operations and Technology groups
  • Support Operations and Technologies projects and initiatives
  • Partner with FP&A on company-wide initiatives
  • Support financial process design and data integrity
  • Provide financial support to our Department of Energy grants
  • Work alongside the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate P/L
  • Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed

Who You Are

As the Finance MBA Intern, you will work alongside the Director of Strategic Finance to support the Operations and Technology groups. You will work with FP&A and business partners on the financial forecasting and month-end close processes, including analysis and reporting. The role includes assisting in projects to set up and operationalize our manufacturing plant in Moses Lake, providing financial support to our Department of Energy grants, and assisting on special projects. The ideal candidate is able to work strategically, multi-task, and be hands-on to get work done.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • The internship will be for one year requiring 20 hours a week when school is in session and 40 hours a week during the summer
  • Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time
  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location

The starting base pay for this role is between $25/hr and $39/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Silaโ€™s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity. ย The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for overtime.
