Requirements

• Possess a sharp news judgment and familiarity with Axios’ news sensibility
• Demonstrate the ability to generate and execute on stories that elevate coverage beyond the news cycle
• Have proven experience editing and upholding editorial standards
• Be a collaborative and strong communicator; able to work across many parts of the newsroom

Responsibilities

• Oversee and elevate all aspects of our coverage of the media and communications industries, including newsletters, breaking news, live events, and membership programs
• Support a reporting team in their pursuit of scoops, data-driven insights and distinctive pieces that dig deeper than the obvious story lines
