Summary
Join Wisedocs and become a Medical Documentation Specialist, contributing to our mission of simplifying medical document understanding for insurance, legal, and medical companies using AI. You will play a key role in our innovative environment, applying your clinical experience to summarize medical records, extract key information, and ensure data accuracy. This position involves close collaboration with the QA team and direct contribution to software training and machine learning procedures. The role requires 1-2 years of experience working directly with medical records and a health sciences background. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required due to the government contract nature of this role.
Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years experience working directly on medical records
- This position is ideal for candidates with health sciences background (psychology, physiotherapy, dental, general medicine- (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc., Psychology)
- Technical skills including high proficiency in typing and use of Office 365
- Exceptional grammar, communication and writing skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to exercise flexibility and judgment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required
Responsibilities
- Summarize medical records using your clinical experience and reviewing medical records
- Must be able to review and document with strong quality focus
- Extract key information that is important for the medical summary
- Work closely with QA team
- Compile, sort and verify data
- Compare data with source documents, and detect technical and clinical errors
- Directly contribute to our software training and machine learning procedures
- Other duties and projects as assigned
