Summary
Join Carrot Fertility as a Medical Expert (high-risk OB/GYN) and contribute to reshaping healthcare. This part-time, remote role (2-3 hours/week) requires utilizing your clinical expertise to provide evidence-informed sessions on various medical topics, particularly high-risk pregnancies. You will educate others, participate in quality assurance, and contribute to continuing education programs. The ideal candidate is a US Board-Certified OB/GYN with at least 3 years of experience in high-risk OB/GYN care. Carrot offers a competitive hourly rate ($250/hr) and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- US Board-Certified OB/GYN
- Minimum of 3 years providing high-risk ob/gyn care from pre-pregnancy-third trimester in both office and hospital settings
- Superb listening skills and an ability to empathetically discuss pregnancy and fertility related topics
- Ability to work independently and understand the difference between good clinical judgment and non-directive guidance
- Motivated to expand knowledge on pregnancy, lactation, parenting, and fertility topics including menopausal care
- Ability to function well from a confidential and private work-remote environment (this is a 100% remote role)
- Flexibility to adapt with evolving business needs
Responsibilities
- Understand current pregnancy trends in the US
- Understand current reproductive and fertility regulatory trends and clinical practice guidelines in the US
- Utilize clinical experience and skills to engage in discussions and educate others particularly in the area of high risk pregnancy conditions
- Lend expertise or knowledge to participate in continuing education programs for Carrot employees as needed
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits to continue to drive an experience that is safe, compliant and of the highest standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical expertise or strong interest in menopausal care
- Fertility care and other aspects of reproductive health desired
- MSCP certification is a plus
- Experience in telemedicine or patient education is a plus
- MFM degree optional
- Fluent in any additional language skills is a bonus but not a requirement
