Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Medical Scribe or Live Scribe in an Ophthalmology setting
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures
• Excellent listening and typing skills with attention to detail
• Ability to document in real-time during patient encounters
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Good communication and collaborative skills
• Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (Pacific Standard Time)

Responsibilities

• Assist Ophthalmologists in real-time documentation during patient consultations
• Accurately record patient history, symptoms, examinations, and assessments
• Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify dictations and ensure accuracy
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient confidentiality
• Review and edit records as needed for accuracy and completeness
• Utilize provided software and tools to streamline documentation processes
