Medical Science Liaison

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) required
• 2+ years of related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience)
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with thought leaders
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, especially in regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Adherence to all regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including some weekends; valid driver’s license required
• Residency in California required
• Successful completion of pre-hire drug test

Responsibilities

• Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Verona, its products, and current medical/scientific research within the respiratory space
• Establish Verona’s Medical Affairs presence by building valued relationships with thought leaders and the broader medical community
• Represent Verona at scientific and medical events within your geographical area
• Deliver compelling medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences
• Gather and share insights from interactions with healthcare professionals to inform internal strategies
• Provide support at professional meetings and congresses by collecting insights, developing tools, and presenting approved data
• Respond to and document unsolicited scientific information requests related to Verona products
