Join Valera Health, a leader in tele-mental health, as a 1099 contractor Mental Health Therapist! This 100% remote position offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based therapeutic treatment to patients via telehealth. You will conduct intakes, individual, group, and family therapy, and maintain accurate documentation. Required qualifications include an active LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT license in Washington, one year of psychotherapy experience using evidence-based treatment, and one year of EMR experience. Requirements

• Active LICSW, LMHC, LMFT in Washington
• 1 year of demonstrated psychotherapy experience using evidence-based treatment
• 1 year of experience with documenting and treatment planning within an EMR
• Access to a computer, webcam, reliable internet connection and private, quiet space for sessions

Responsibilities

• Render evidence-based therapeutic treatment to patients
• Provide an array of mental health services to promote individualized patient recovery primarily through tele-health video or telephone
• Conduct intakes, individual, group, and family therapy when applicable
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services
• Complete and maintain documentation in a timely and accurate manner and according to Federal, State and company guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese
• Prior tele-health or remote experience
• Reliable self-starter who is able to work independently and also as part of a team
• Strong engagement and assessment skills to work with a diverse range of patients
