Summary

Join Turner & Townsend as an experienced MEP Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement and cost management of OFCI equipment for large-scale data center projects. This 100% remote role offers flexibility while working with global teams and major clients. The ideal candidate is a senior-level professional with deep technical knowledge of MEP systems and a strong background in budgeting, procurement strategy, and cash flow management within data centers or similar mission-critical environments. You will develop and manage the OFCI equipment budget, track commitments and cost movements, collaborate with technical and procurement teams, and lead commercial reviews and vendor selection. The role also involves overseeing cash flow forecasting, managing contract administration, and ensuring alignment between commercial and procurement teams. You will support the management of OFCI packages potentially exceeding $3 billion in value and contribute to the use of program tools.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP equipment and systems
  • Proven experience in procurement, cost management, and cash flow oversight
  • Experience working on large-scale data center or mission-critical projects
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating across teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall OFCI equipment budget
  • Track commitments, scope changes, and cost movements
  • Collaborate with technical and procurement teams to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Lead commercial reviews, bid leveling, and vendor selection
  • Provide high-level benchmarking and strategic input on procurement methods
  • Identify and engage with key vendors and suppliers
  • Oversee OFCI cash flow forecasting and payment terms
  • Manage contract administration and change control processes
  • Ensure alignment between commercial and procurement teams
  • Act as the key link between the commercial and OFCI procurement teams
  • Support the management of OFCI packages potentially exceeding $3 billion in value
  • Contribute to the setup and use of program tools such as risk registers, issue trackers, and decision-making frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OFCI procurement in data centers or similar environments
  • Familiarity with vendors and procurement strategies for MEP equipment
  • Background in managing large budgets and interfacing with commercial teams
