Mid Level Front-End Engineer

Summary

Join Rantizo, a leading ag-tech company, as a Mid-Level React Software Engineer. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of our AcreConnect web application, collaborating with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers. This role requires a strong foundation in React and experience building scalable applications. You will develop and maintain responsive web applications, collaborate on design implementation, optimize components for performance, and ensure code quality through testing and code reviews. Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Exposure to front-end testing frameworks and debugging tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of web-capable devices and browsers
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
• Integrate with RESTful APIs to handle data and manage state
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and compliance with established standards
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Contribute to technical discussions and collaborate on architectural decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Java backend experience
• Agriculture background
• Drone or other autonomous robotic background
• Experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
• Experience with mapping tools
