Join PandaDoc's Editor team as a Middle Frontend Engineer and contribute to building innovative features for our document workflow automation platform. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of engineers to improve load times, reduce latency, and enhance the user experience of the Editor. You will lead the implementation of a major Editor redesign and focus on modernizing the tech stack. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript development experience, strong understanding of HTML and CSS, and experience with React/Redux. Requirements

• At least 3+ years of development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding and experience in HTML and CSS
• Strong experience with React/Redux
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Knowledge of application performance management and optimization techniques
• Understanding of backend concepts and a desire to learn architecture and design patterns
• Proactive problem-solver, eager to grow and work autonomously
• Great communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Improve load times, reduce latency, and enhance the overall user experience of the Editor
• Identify and implement the most effective performance optimization strategies to ensure our users receive a seamless experience
• Contribute to the development of features that delight users and push the boundaries of what’s possible with documents
• Lead the implementation of a major Editor redesign in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams
• Modernize the tech stack to ensure a flawless user and developer experience
• Focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance in all technical decisions
