Middle Python Developer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer at Improvado, a marketing analytics SaaS platform. The role involves building and maintaining the back-end of the platform, designing new functionalities, writing tests, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with the front-end team, participating in Agile development methodology, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 2 years in a role focused on Python backend development (perfectly with Django framework)
• Comfortable working with Linux
• Knowledge and experience in implementation of algorithms and design patterns
• Knowledge of such conceptions as OOP, Solid, DDD
• Knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, NoSQL databases)
• Desire to use AI products to empower development and products
• Ready to work with the team distributed among different timezones
• Software Engineering is your true passion
• Curious and always learning upcoming best practices

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain back-end for Improvado's marketing analytics SaaS platform
• Design and Implement new functionalities
• Write tests using Pytest and other libraries
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Optimize performance of services to ensure fast and responsive user experience
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate with the server-side logic
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall codebase improvements
• Participate in Agile development methodology, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Participate in knowledge sharing with the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-load/BigData, and REST projects
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Amazon Web Services, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with asyncio, or similar frameworks
• A demonstrated ability to build microservices
• Proven record of building cloud-based services
• Ability to work in a Continuous Integration environment
