Mid-Level Front-End Team Lead

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Strong clean code skills and mastery of React design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable codebases
• Expert-level proficiency in React and its ecosystem (Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and best front-end practices
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
• Solid understanding of build tools and pipelines (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier, CI/CD, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and being comfortable adapting to changes quickly

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled front-end engineers, ensuring professional growth and technical excellence
• Architect, develop, and optimize React-based front-end solutions for our powerful website-building experience
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing (unit, integration, E2E), and performance optimization
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to create seamless, high-quality user experiences
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentorship to uplift the team’s capabilities
• Advocate for modern development methodologies such as Agile, TDD, and continuous integration
• Work in a Scrum environment, ensuring stories are broken down correctly, adapting quickly to changes, and collaborating effectively with product teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side development and full-stack projects - big advantage
• Familiarity with our ecosystem or other page-building platforms
