Summary

Join Trella Health as a Software Engineer and develop innovative, high-quality web applications using cutting-edge technologies like React or Angular 16. You will design user-friendly interfaces, build robust back-end services using C#, optimize databases (MySQL, MariaDB, Snowflake), and manage version control with Git. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as is troubleshooting bugs and providing progress updates. This mid-level, full-stack role requires advanced proficiency in C#, modern front-end frameworks, relational databases, and cloud environments (AWS). A growth mindset and excellent communication skills are essential. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in Atlanta, Nashville, or Philadelphia.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in C#
  • Advanced proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. (We're doing our new development in React.)
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database technologies and query optimization
  • Experience working in cloud environments like AWS
  • Strong proficiency with Git, including experience with various branching models
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • An unusual affinity or curiosity for unit testing
  • Proven ability to analyze ambiguous requirements, identify clear solutions, and deliver with an understanding of trade-offs
  • A growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and exploration of new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test modern web applications using cutting-edge web technologies such as React or Angular 16
  • Design and build elegant, user-friendly interfaces with CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, Angular Material, Kendo UI, and/or Tailwind CSS
  • Implement robust, scalable back-end services following SOLID principles and best practices using C# 12 or later
  • Design efficient database schemas and optimize performance in MySQL, MariaDB, and/or Snowflake through advanced SQL queries
  • Manage version control workflows, including commits, branching, and releases, using Git
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine) to enhance development efficiency, code quality, and debugging
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsโ€”Design, Product, Data Science, DevOps, and other business unitsโ€”to deliver complex projects
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve software bugs
  • Provide clear progress updates on project milestones, risks, and blockers
  • Continuously improve the codebase with high-quality technical contributions
  • Actively participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including technical planning, general development, and pull request reviews
  • Participate in spirited debates about the pronunciation of GIF
