Mid-Level Web Developer

Summary

Join our client's top-tier team as a Mid-level Web Developer, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites or web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in web development
• Extensive experience of one of these Programming languages: Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Python
• Programming skills in either of these MVC frameworks: Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Django, Nest.js
• Programming skills in either of these Frontend Libraries: React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt.js, Redux and etc
• Familiarity with HTML, Javascript and CSS
• Have experience in creating RESTful API
• Have experience in Unit Testing
• Experience in using version control tools like Git
• Experience in using remote repositories like Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket
• In-depth understanding of web development
• Familiar with SDLC principles, such as Agile
• Applicants from the Philippines will be prioritized
• Have basic understanding with Software Architecture (e.g DDD, Clean Architecture, Microservice)
• Know how to setup dev environment (e.g Vagrant, Docker)
• Have basic understanding of CI/CD
• Have experience on code review and familiar with git workflow
• Have good discipline on writing clean code

Responsibilities

• Attend daily meetings to discuss project updates, requirements, and collaborate with team members
• Engage in full-stack development tasks, working on both frontend and backend components to create comprehensive web solutions
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
• Conduct unit testing for both frontend and backend code to verify functionality, identify bugs, and ensure reliability and performance of the application

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related
• Infrastructure Experience (e.g AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Have experience teaching/mentoring juniors
• Knowledgeable on backend libraries (e.g Laravel, Django, Nest.js)
• Swagger or API documentation
