Mid-Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Nord Security's Backend guild and contribute to building a stable, reliable, and fast cloud platform for data storage and secure data synchronization across NordPass applications. You will be responsible for writing clean, tested, and documented code, creating developer-friendly APIs, and contributing to technical decisions and architecture. The team values collaboration and democratic decision-making. This role requires at least 3 years of PHP experience, a strong understanding of OOP principles, and experience with highly scalable systems. Bonus points are awarded for knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis. Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience working with PHP
• Understanding of OOP principles & good code design
• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems
• That you know a thing or two about API design
• Good (My)SQL knowledge and experience with big data quantities

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for writing clear, tested, documented code that delivers real business value
• Be involved in creating APIs that are useful for developers (both internally and externally)
• Together with our core team deliver quality code-based solutions
• Contribute to app technical decisions, architecture, process, etc
• Contribute to technical tasks, feedback forms, and technical interviews

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ and Redis
