Remote ML Engineer (Mid), Technical Leader

Summary

Join our multidisciplinary team of Engineers, Data Scientists, and innovation management Experts as an R&D - ML Engineer (Mid) / Technical Leader. You will be part of a fully remote opportunity working on large-scale Research and Innovation Projects in various sectors such as Security, Health, and Creativity.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar field
• Proven working experience, 3 to 5 years, on application development project(s)
• Good knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and computational algorithms
• Proven experience and competence in software engineering and design
• Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architectures
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization
• Proven experience in Python
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, pandas, scikit-learn)
• Good knowledge of Git
• Experience with REST-API design and implementation

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Management
• Projects' Technical specification definition & Architecture Design
• Apply Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, build and maintain end-to-end solutions
• Statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build and maintain data and model pipelines
• Provide solutions to any technical-related issues during a project’s lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in frameworks Django, FLASK or FastAPI
• Familiar with SQL databases
• Familiarisation with application containers (Docker) and general exposure to continuous integration processes and practices
• Familiarization with event-driven processes
