ML Intern

Summary

Join Provectus for a 4-month Generative AI internship! This hands-on program focuses on building and optimizing RAG pipelines, designing agentic workflows, curating datasets, and developing GenAI demos. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field and possess experience with Python, ML frameworks, NLP, and GenAI. The internship offers practical experience with LLMs and vector databases, mentorship from AI/ML professionals, and a portfolio-building opportunity. Successful interns may be offered a full-time role. The program runs from May 1st to September 1st and is a remote role with the possibility of working in-office.

Requirements

• Experience with Python and Python-based ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Knowledge of NLP, GenAI, and LLMs
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Git
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Analyticak thinking skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively across groups and cultures
• Students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher technical education in disciplines like Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, Data Science, and Information Science & Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows
• Help design and experiment with autonomous agents for task automation
• Scrape, curate, and label domain-specific datasets to train and evaluate models
• Support the development of GenAI-powered demos and help communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Show initiative, rapid learning ability, and openness to new ideas
• Actively seek feedback and iterate on work products and approaches
• Demonstrate increasing independence and responsibility over time
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as MVP development of internal tools or accelerators, demos and prototypes for future offerings, and research-driven experiments (e.g., GenAI, ML ops automation)
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following our internal standards
• Work closely with assigned mentors and cross-functional team members
• Participate in regular check-ins, team meetings, and demo days
• Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and learnings
