Summary

Join Stitch Fix's ML Platform team as an ML Platform Engineer and build and maintain the critical infrastructure powering machine learning across the organization. You will design, develop, and support scalable, resilient services and frameworks for ML model training and deployment. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to solve complex challenges. Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data and ML infrastructure
• Proven track record of building scalable, distributed production systems
• Exceptional coding and design skills
• Proficiency in leveraging big data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive/Iceberg, Postgres, Redis, and similar tools
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud-based providers
• Ability to think globally, developing solutions that address multiple needs while prioritizing business impact
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to simplify complex challenges and collaborate effectively with business partners to drive solutions forward

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable, resilient services and frameworks for ML model training and deployment
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the ML Platform team, ensuring the smooth functioning of existing systems while driving improvements
• Collaborate closely with full-stack data scientists, offering consultation and support to help them unlock the full potential of our platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business partners, to solve complex distributed systems and business challenges at scale
• Share your ideas and help guide the team’s investments toward high-value opportunities
• Foster a culture of technical collaboration and contribute to the development of scalable, resilient systems
