Mobile App Deployment Manager

This remote, flexible part-time to full-time position involves managing the deployment of our mobile app across Apple and Android platforms. You will collaborate with the product team and external partners, ensuring seamless distribution and security. Compensation includes an equity-based model, transitioning to salary and benefits at the break-even point. We offer flexible hours, ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, to accommodate work-life balance.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years experience as a Mobile App Deployment Manager or similar role, preferably in a tech startup environment
• Possess an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end process of distributing custom mobile apps to the Apple App Store and the Android Store
• Have experience with managing app distribution platforms and familiarity with their guidelines and requirements
• Have a strong technical background with knowledge of mobile app development, testing, and deployment methodologies
• Possess excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Be proficient in using deployment tools and version control systems
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the security and reliability of deployed apps
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the deployment process for our mobile app, ensuring timely release and availability to consumers
• Collaborate with the development team to understand app features, updates, and requirements for deployment
• Manage app distribution platforms, including the Apple App Store and the Android Store, to upload and maintain app versions
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues or bugs prior to deployment
• Implement security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor app performance post-deployment and address any performance or security concerns promptly
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on deployment progress and any issues encountered
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and platform guidelines to optimize the deployment process

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Have experience with distributing B2B apps and understanding of enterprise app deployment processes
