Mobile Engineer in Worldwide

Summary

Lantern is seeking an experienced mobile engineer to help fight censorship through their censorship circumvention tool. The company uses a variety of networking and protocol tricks to sneak traffic past censors in repressive countries, primarily in China, Russia, and Iran. For mobile development, they make heavy use of Flutter and Go.

Requirements

• Fluency in Farsi is required
• 2+ years of experience with native Android or iOS development
• Strong proficiency with Dart, including Flutter
• Knowledge of mobile development best practices
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as REST, GraphQL, etc
• Expert proficiency in Flutter for Android and iOS
• Strong foundations in the principles of visual display of information
• Strong knowledge in the architecture and implementation of Android or iOS applications
• Experience working with popular libraries for networking, asynchronous, image loading, etc…
• Action oriented & excellent analytical and creative thinking

Responsibilities

• Design robust APIs to support mobile applications
• Transform business requirements into creative solutions and stylish UI pages
• Build intuitive, engaging and progressive user interactions for mobile apps
• Deliver well-defined features of small to medium complexity on a regular basis
• Debug and fix issues in development, testing, and production
• Participate in software design for features and bug fixes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Flutter desktop and universal applications
• Architecting, building, and maintaining desktop applications
• Experience developing Windows Services
