Mobile Team Lead

Summary

Join Pepperstone's technology team as a Team Lead – Mobile and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our mobile trading applications. Lead a small, high-performing team, guiding the technical direction and supporting their growth. Ensure delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable mobile solutions. Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and platform engineers. Drive agile execution within your team, including planning, estimation, and delivery tracking. Support team members' professional growth through coaching and development planning. Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and automation. Serve as the technical escalation point for the mobile domain. This role reports to the Engineering Manager, based in Cyprus, offering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in mobile development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Solid experience with CI/CD and testing tools such as GitHub Actions and Fastlane
• Strong understanding of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
• Proven ability to take ownership and drive technical delivery
• Clear communicator who can align teams, clarify direction, and facilitate collaboration across functions

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 mobile engineers, providing technical direction, guidance, and regular feedback
• Own the delivery of high-quality mobile features built with React Native and modern tooling
• Make architectural and design decisions to ensure long-term maintainability and performance
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, and platform engineers to align on priorities and deliver value
• Drive agile execution within your team, including planning, estimation, and delivery tracking
• Support team members' professional growth through coaching, structured feedback, and development planning
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and automation using tools like GitHub Actions and Fastlane
• Serve as the technical escalation point for the mobile domain, unblocking issues and enabling fast, effective delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with native development on iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) is a plus
